I Enjoyed my 10 day stay at the GTV. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is very good and inexpensive. The hotel is kept very clean. Do not be taken aback by the geckos on the walls. Sammy was my tuk-tuk driver for 8 days. Contact him at 855 92 533899. He will take good care of you. I would recommend GTV to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay in Siem Reap. I am 72 years old and have traveled throughout Europe, Egypt and Morocco. This was my first trip to Asia. I visited most all of the temples in the area and climbed the multi-story ones. If you are healthy, you can also do it. Stay at least a week because there are a lot of things to see in the area. Skip the War Museum, but visit the floating village on Tonle Sap Lake, near Siem Reap, and the National Silk Center, Pouk District. Be prepared for a bit of cultural shock, but just enjoy the differences. |

Me and my friends stayed in GTV for three days and we had a great time staying there. I may say, the price is very reasonable.
The staff are very friendly. The food is very good...
Thany GTV staff for your hospitality...

Absolutely fabulous place. Stayed two nights and we were looked after so well. Sov Sothik was our tour guide for Angkor Wat and he was brilliant. He kept us interested for the whole day with a great sense of humour. Also Mr.Sambo was our tuc tuc driver - he gives you free ice-cold water throughout the day!!!! |

This has got to be one of the jewels of the budget scene. Fantastic staff, restaurant and garden. The room was clean and came with complimentary bottled water in the fridge and silk curtains at the window; nice touches. As a single woman traveller I felt very safe and secure. Add to this a wonderful massage, the great town of Siem Reap and the awesometemples and it's a little piece of paradise. |
