I spent 5 days at GTV during this past August. I must say that after staying all over Southeast Asia in my month of travels that this was by far the best and most comfortable I felt. It truly is 4 star for the price of 2 star. The staff was so nice and helpful that you feel very at home and welcome right away. When you walk through the entrance gate you leave the pressure of everyone selling something to you and enter a tranquil environment. Had a great day with Nith and the Jeep at the Temples. Riding the bike around town was fun too. I absolutely recommend Golden Temple to everyone including my friends here that are planning the trip to SR. I was lucky to meet someone in Patong that told me to stay there.

Stayed 5 nights there at Golden Temple Villa GH during Mid-Aug,09. Highly recommended it to all as staying there was a wonderful experience. We fell in love with its small garden and their room decoration at the 1st sight, and in the later, we were much touched by their friendly and helping staff. They kindly helped us book bus tickets to Phnom Penh, and arranged tuktuk driver and much cheaper tickets for our Tonle Sap visit. One day, my old father who can't speak English lost his way and the GH staff were so kind that they went and picked him back with their motocycle!!! Also love the food their, their free tea/coffee and espcially sweet banana and welcome drink. It's so cheap for meals there after 4pm and the food so delilous so we spent most of our meal time there in the end.

We have stayed at the GTV 2 weeks in July 2009!! Yes 2 weeks!! We fell in love with the place the minute we walked into it. Rooms are beautifully decorated and are with everything that a traveler needs. All staff at the hotel from reception to restaurant to housekeeping to kitchen and to drivers were very nice, helpful, very friendly and exceptionally professional! Food was so amazing that very often we ended up eating in the restaurant and not so much outside. Prices were adequate to the service received! Definitely a place to be highly recommended regardless of the traveling budget! We have been on the road since 8 months around Asia and this place is still our Number 1! This is our first Trip to Cambodia and we really loved this Guesthouse. Couldn't imagine a friendlier staff. The Rooms are clean and comfortably furnished. But what really completed the atmosphere was that beautiful garden with all its Statues and Plants.
Thanks to the incredible good taste and the very affordable prices we fell in love with the Khmer Food.
And as if that wasn't enough you get all these free gimmicks like tea, coffee, rice cakes(got addictet to them), massage, Bycicles, fruits and so on..
An adorable place to stay that i would recommend to anyone planning to stay in Siem Reap.
We'll definitely come back here

We did our booking at this hotel through internet and we are so pleased that we chose Golden Temple Villa, because it is one of the best hotel we have come across at such reasonable rate. Their moto "4* accommodation @ 2* rates" is literally true. Their service from, pick up to the last minute of our stay was fantastic. All the staff were very friendly and courteous. Mr Richart organised all our tours and made sure we were comfortable all the time. He is very competent, friendly and honest. Our tuk tuk driver for two days was Mr Sambath. He was very helpful and reliable. The food in the hotel restaurant was so good and reasonably priced, that we ended up having all our three dinners there. The place is very clean with beautiful tropical garden. Appreciated lots of free things [pick-up, tea, coffee, bananas, water, internet, massage, etc.] thrown in the rates. My husband is already talking about staying longer at your hotel next time. Highly recommend Golden Temple Villa to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

My friend and I stayed for 5 nights recently at Golden Temple after it was recommended to us by another friend. It was one of the nicest places that I have stayed at - the rooms were amazing, the staff were lovely and helpful, the atmosphere and decor were warm and friendly and it was conveniently located. The food in the restaurant was also very cheap and delicious!! Since moving on from Siem Reap, I have recommended Golden Temple to every person that I have met who plans to travel there.

We have travelled through Vietnam and Cambodia and although Cambodia seems to have less infrastructure for budget travellers (air con, hot water etc) this hotel was up to par with some of the best we stayed at in Vietnam. It is very picturesque, very close to the main eats/bars/markets in Siem Reap and it is easy to grab a tuk tuk at any hour from the end of the street. Free internet, excellent restaurant & interesting movies about Cambodia on offer. Our room was a bit small but staff were alway... |

This hotel was inexpensive and lovely - such a treat after coming from a tiny hot room in KL which cost more! We were picked up from the airport and the hotel also provided us with a driver to take us to the temples (that costs extra). The hotel is on a pretty quiet street, but close to all the restaurants and markets. The staff were so so friendly and the restaurant was good and cheap. The balcony and gardens are lovely! We would definitely recommend this hotel!!!! |

My Mum (73 years old) and I stayed here in June 2009 for 8 wonderful nights.
Lee and his staff are fantastic.
The guest house is clean,service unreal,food beautiful,internet fast. Perfect place for hoilday.
This is our second stay and will be back in 6mths.
Have travelled world and this is my favorite place to stay. |

In last March my wife and I spent some nights in "Golden Temple Villa" in Siem Reap. The collection at the airport was contained in the price. Instead of the expected car, however, a journey was announced with the Tuk-Tuk. In any case we have arrived at the guesthouse well and our driver, Mr. Sombath, was very nice. Also on our journeys to the temple investments of Angkor we were also away with him.
The guesthouse itself lies embedded in a green, beautiful garden with seatses. Our room was located in the first floor and was clean, equipped with comfortable beds and decorated very tastefully. A small bath and AC were also available. Perhaps it is not so well suitable for late on-stayers, because it lies nearby the entrance and the reception . As of 6 o'clock in the morning it can get a little more lively already. For the rooms in the upper floors there is a good chance for this declared on stairs staircases and completely above for increasing warmth by solar radiation.
A room with several computers is available next to the reception where one has internet access also free of charge. You also can devote himself to a massage in the first floor.
The staff is nice, kind and helpful. Particularly Danay, the manager, tries of early till late around the welfare of its guests troubles. The restaurant area where one can have breakfast is attached. One can enjoy Khmerfood or also European food there in the evening. A market is availably further some streets where one can purchase various goods. One should pay attention to the pricing also there, though.
If I should come to Siem Reap again, I will book in "Golden Temple Villa" certainly again.
